Shark Reef Resort offers a mix of motel-style rooms and private casita cottages designed for guests looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in Port Aransas.


We are a family-owned, limited-service property and do not operate as a full-service hotel. Our accommodations are best suited for guests who value a relaxed, family-friendly environment, convenient parking, and easy access to the beach and local attractions.


Our Motel Rooms

Our motel rooms offer a simple, comfortable place to relax after a day at the beach or on the water. Each room provides easy access to parking, outdoor spaces, and shared amenities, making them a convenient option for families, couples, and fishing trips.


These rooms are ideal for guests looking for a clean, no-frills stay with a relaxed island feel.


Suites

Our suites include a mini refrigerator and microwave and are a great option for guests who plan to dine out and spend their days enjoying the island.

King Suite

King bed with a pull-out sofa sleeper. Includes a mini refrigerator and microwave.


Sleeps up to 3 guests.


Double Queen Suite

Two queen beds with a pull-out sofa sleeper. Includes a mini refrigerator and microwave.


Sleeps up to 5 guests.

Kitchen Units & Cottages

For guests looking for more space and in-room cooking options, we offer a selection of units with full kitchens. These accommodations are ideal for families, longer stays, and guests who prefer a home-style setup.

King Kitchen

King bed with a sleeper sofa and a full kitchen.


Sleeps up to 3 guests.


Two-Bed Kitchen

One double queen bed and one queen bed with a full kitchen. No sleeper sofa.


Sleeps up to 4 guests.

Four-Bed Kitchen

Four full-size beds with a full kitchen. No sleeper sofa.


Sleeps up to 8 guests.

Cottages

Private casita-style cottages featuring a king bed in the master bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living area. Includes a full kitchen.

Shark Reef Resort is a family-owned, limited-service property and does not operate as a full-service hotel. Our front office hours are limited, and the office may be locked outside of those times. Guests may use the doorbell if assistance is needed.


Occupancy limits are strictly enforced for all room types. Please review room descriptions carefully to ensure the accommodation fits your group.


We encourage guests to review our cancellation and pet policies prior to booking to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

A Quick Note to Our Guests:

  • Shark Reef Resort requires 2 days in advance for standard cancels, and 7 days for special events
  • Canceling after this timeframe is nonrefundable
  • Booking third party (Expedia, Booking, Etc.) will automatically place you within the 7-day nonrefundable cancel policy. These websites always incur resort fees.
